We treat water in order to ensure that its consumption doesn’t affect human health. Hence testing the quality of water becomes an important aspect in the treatment process. At Aquaplus we provide two kinds of easy-touse,portable water testing kits- the Aqualab Base Kit and the Aqualab Pro Kit. These kits are equipped with all the instruments required to test the quality of water. The instruments are designed and manufactured in such a
way that they are light, compact, easy to transport and can withstand extreme weather. The Aqualab water testing kits help test the water quality on the field, without having to take a water sample to a laboratory. The kit is designed to yield immediate and fairly accurate results on field that help in determining whether the water quality parameters are within prescribed standards.
Testing Kit Contents
- Turbidity Tube to test the turbidity of the water. Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of the water caused by sediment or foreign particles usually invisible to naked eye. Removal of turbidity is essential since harmful bacteria reside and grow on these particles.
- TDS Meter to test the total dissolved solids present in water. Total dissolved solids are the dissolved minerals, salts and metals in water. High concentrations of TDS cause undesirable taste and sometimes are toxic in nature.
- Pool tester to test the pH, total chlorine and residual chlorine in water. It is very important to dose the right amount of chlorine in the treatment system.
- H2S Vials to test the presence of potentially pathogenic bacteria in the water. This test only gives an indication of the presence of bacteria and that the water
needs to be tested further to find whether it contains harmful bacteria. - Incubator with filtration apparatus to test the presence of thermotolerant bacteria in the water. This test only gives an indication of the presence of
bacteria and that the water needs to be tested further to find whether it contains harmful bacteria.
